Abide in me.

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15:4

If we are not making it a habit, a daily habit to abide in Christ, we will not bear fruit- but will be cast from Him. It doesn't say that the dry unbelievers will be cast from him, but those who profess to be Christians, who are in the inner circle of blessing. Those who, to human sight, are connected to the vine, yet are consumers and not producers. Who by their very course show they have no connection with the source of life. But to those that abide in Him and by His word he promises to purge them that they may bear more fruit, and abide in his presence forever.
